The Next Generation of the REMOTE AIR PRO series has been completely reimagined into a highly flexible and professional wireless follow focus system with major improvements over the previous generation. It has a 75mm diameter large follow control handwheel which is more suitable for the palm-size or gloved operator to control the focus. It also does not have any grip restrictions, meaning it can be easily attached to the included handle or mounted on any handle, monitor, or arm which has a standard 1/4-20 mount. The re-imagined controller allows you to mount any 1/4-20 accessories to it including a monitor and Blitz wireless video receiver, all while maintaining the center of gravity close to the handle. The focus controller contains a built-in LED light which allows you to see your custom markings during low light situations.
328 ft. Wireless Transmission Distance
PD MOVIE have optimized the data transmission algorithm for the built-in antenna, the control distance can easily reach 328 feet and beyond with perfect line-of-sight.
Three-channel Controller
The Remote Air Pro 3 controller now includes a 75mm focus wheel as well as zoom and iris rockers built into the same controller. The PD4-S1 system is a single-channel system and can be upgraded to a two or three-channel system by adding additional PD-MX or PD-MP motors. The included controller (PD4-HT) has the ability to control three motors simultaneously with a single camera setup and up to six motors with a dual-camera 3D setup (additional motors available separately).
Unlimited Mounting Options
The Remote Air Pro 3 allows for unlimited mounting options by utilizing a detachable 19mm rod. Once the 19mm rod is inserted, the contoller can be mounted to the standard Remote Air Pro 3 rubber handle. The controller also features four 1/4 screw threads so it can be easily attached to an articulating arm or clamp system.
Quick Battery Replacement
The controller uses a replaceable 600mAh battery, supports hot plug, and features a battery-life of 12 hours.
Distant Data
The controller and receiver motor both use the same data display mode, which make the data clearer at a glance. The LED screens are placed so that the data can be easily read.
Click, Press All-In-One Button
The Remote Air Pro 3 includes an all-in-one multifunction button. By clicking or pressing different times, you can quickly set the signal channel, control channel, motor speed and remote recording.
Note: Remote recording supports RED DSMC2, ARRI Alexa Mini/Mini LF, Lanc 2.5mm protocol.
Versitile Handle
The Remote Air Pro 3 includes a completely reimagined handle. You can now mount and unmount the hand controller with ease. The handle includes nine 1/4 mounting threads which allows you to mount accessories such as a mobile device, monitor, wireless receiver, and lanyard. Using the handle with a monitor makes focus pulling easier since the center of gravity is on top of the handle instead of the side. The handle is made of high-strength aluminum alloy and durable rubber.
Operate Wireless or Wired
In the case of extreme interference ,the Remote Air Pro 3 system allows you to choose if you want to operate the focus controller in either wireless mode or wired mode by simply tethering the 6-pin motor drive cable from the motor to the controller.
MOTOR AIR
The single-channel system includes the MOTOR AIR for standard film lenses. The MOTOR AIR has 8192DPI high resolution, 0.8Nm torque and high response.
MOTOR PRO
The PD4-S1 system can be upgraded to include the powerful MOTOR PRO, which is designed for lenses that require higher torque. The Motor Pro also features high-precision resolution, 1.2Nm torque, and lower latency. The Motor Pro feels indistinguishable to a non-motorized follow focus system
REMOTE AIR APP
The Controller and receiver motor have a built-in Bluetooth module. The iPhone 10S APP controls the lens, lens data, and set automated lens movements. (Android support is currently under development.)
