The innovative design is much better than regular converters as you can rack mount the converter if needed. The front panel feels elegant when placed on a desktop plus it includes buttons and a color display for video monitoring with audio meters and video standards. The rear panel has Quad Link 12G‑SDI for HD, Ultra HD as well as 8K formats. There are also 4 HDMI outputs allowing use with 8K televisions that feature quad HMDI inputs, plus a down converter for using 8K sources on Ultra HD or HD televisions. You can even convert between 2SI and Square Division all automatically! There's also AC power, analog audio HiFi out and a front-panel USB connection for use with monitor calibration probes.
SDI to HDMI 8K

Audio to SDI 12G
Embed up to 2 channels of audio from balanced analog, optical or HiFi RCA, or embed up to or 4 channels of AES/EBU digital audio into any SD, HD, Ultra HD or DCI 4K SDI video connection. Take the audio from devices such as audio mixers, iPods and analog decks and embed it into SDI video connections for use with SDI routers and decks.
Quad SDI to 12G-SDI
Convert Quad Link SDI to 12G-SDI so you can connect Quad Link Ultra HD equipment to the latest 12G-SDI Ultra HD equipment. Allows equipment that uses four BNC cables to be connected using a single 12G-SDI BNC cable for connecting to the latest routers, switchers, projectors and more! 12G-SDI to Quad SDI

IP Video 12G
Now you can convert video to IP and route it over your existing ethernet network, or you can convert IP video back to SDI. Teranex Mini IP Video 12G uses standard Blackmagic Videohub software and hardware control panels to configure and switch IP video over ethernet as easily as SDI signals! You get 12G-SDI and the low latency broadcast quality TICO codec so you can route HD over the built-in gigabit ethernet connection or Ultra HD over 10G ethernet with an optional 10G SFP!
Rack Shelf
Rack-mount up to three Teranex Mini units side-by-side using this lightweight, 1U Teranex Mini Rack Shelf for 19" racks from Blackmagic Design. This shelf is well-suited for road cases as well as equipment racks.
Smart Panel
The Teranex Mini Smart Panel, from Blackmagic Design, is designed to simply replace the existing front panel on any Teranex Mini Converter and instead provide a color LCD, spin dial, and six control buttons, including a menu control. You'll be able to adjust settings, browse menus, monitor conversions in progress, monitor audio levels, verify timecode, and verify the video standard being converted. The Smart Panel easily attaches in place of the standard front panel once the standard panel is taken off.
