BZ1500
The Ikan Blitz 1500 is the latest addition to the Blitz family of wireless transmitters. With the BZ1500, we increased the range to 1500 feet and designed the body of the transmitter to have an optional front 1/4-20″ mount adapter. The Blitz features uncompressed, zero delay wireless video in a lightweight and affordable package. With a 1500 foot range, this system is perfect for various types of uses such as with wireless follow focus systems as well as gimbal and Steadicam operators. The Blitz 1500 is perfect anytime you need to be untethered from the camera and require reliable wireless video over long distances.
Zero Delay and 1500 Feet of Range
The Blitz supports zero delay video transmission so it is perfect for situations where timing is critical such as with wireless follow focus systems. It features a 1500 foot range to give you the freedom to move about without having to worry about losing signal.
Uncompressed Video
Many wireless systems compress video, but this negatively affects the video quality and introduces delay. The Blitz 1500 sends uncompressed video and allows for zero delay because the system doesn’t spend time compressing and uncompressing the video. The Blitz supports up to 1080 60p uncompressed video.
Inputs and Outputs
Whether you are using HDMI or SDI, the Blitz has you covered. It supports both HDMI 1.3 and 3G-SDI so you get uncompressed high definition video up to 1080 60p. The Blitz systems are also capable of cross converting whatever signal you are feeding them, allowing you to switch from SDI to HDMI or HDMI to SDI. The transmitter has a 3.5mm input that allows audio to be transmitted to the receiver over SDI and HDMI.
Battery Power
To keep the system light and the cost of use low, we include the necessary battery plates with the Blitz. They come pre-installed and allow you to power the units easily and reliably. The transmitter uses the Sony L Series style batteries and the receiver relies on a V-Mount battery. The units also include 2-pin LEMO compatible power connectors so you can supply power externally with the included P-Tap cables. This allows you to use the same pro batteries that are powering your camera to power the Blitz as well.
Durable, Reliable and Easy to Use
The Blitz 1500 is made out of durable machined aluminum and is extremely easy to set up. You don’t have to mess with complicated menus or setups with its simple-to-use wireless channel selection switch. Just power on the units and they will sync in about 20 seconds or less. The transmitter is small and lightweight so it can be mounted just about anywhere like to your camera’s shoe mount. The receiver features five external antennas to ensure a strong signal as well as an easy to read LCD screen with signal indicators. This way you always have a clear indication of your signal strength.
The Complete Package
The Blitz 1500 ships inside of a durable hard case to make transporting it easy. Inside, you will find an articulating arm and clamp to help you mount the units. One AC adapter and two P-Tap to Lemo compatible cables are also included for more power options. With the Blitz 1500, you’ll get the complete package.
